Neothermal Energy Storage is a thermal storage innovator, helping homeowners save money on their heating costs. The core technology inside Neothermal’s heater was developed by Louis Desgrosseilliers during his PhD studies at Dalhousie University, and we formed Neothermal Energy Storage in 2015 to commercialize this technology and offer consumers a better way to keep warm.

The heater stores heat using salt hydrate. This commonly used and food-safe material is found in many products already, such as in rechargeable hand-warmers you find in sporting goods stores.

Neothermal’s ETS heater reduces energy costs for consumers, reduces peak demand for utilities so less energy is needed to run their power plants, and uses a common material in a new way that is safer than traditional brick heaters.
